Default ULTIMATE SUSPENSION plan

As I have posted b4, I bought 96 lx auto.

Before I do an engine swap, I want to improve my suspension!

Im willing to spend $2000!

Firstly, Im looking for plan that handles amazing, heightens the vehicle and softens my suspension,
When I go over bumps its very hard..

I know this plan might be overkill for now but Im saving up for a K series engine.

Should I go with coilovers??

any ideas??
Thanx

handling amazing and having a smooth ride is tough. best bet, get some nice sleeves such as Ground Controls set with custom spring rates, a nice set of adjustable dampening shocks such as Koni Yellows or KYB AGX's, real thick front and rear sway bars(going to also need a subframe reinforcement kit for the rear such as Beaks or ASR), Energy Suspension bushing kit, 3 point front strut bar, 4 point rear strut bar, and also very important some nice sticky tires such as Falken Azenis RT-615's. all those parts mentioned are ur $2k give or take depending on if u buy some new or used.

lol in that case, a "full" coilover set is enough to do the job. sets i'd recommened, Type One Racing(T1R) B-Max 52 coilovers, Stance GR+ coilovers, Cusco Zero 1 coilovers, or Tien Flex. all great sets, under $2k shipped, adjustable ride heights andadjustable dampening. im considering those in time for next years race season, i sure as hell cant waitjust hard to decide on which...

toda...wow... tein is good stuff and edfc is really cool. i have koni yellows and ground control coilovers. im happy with that setup. got a skunk2 camber kit too. all for about $1100....then if you want, sway bars and strut bars will help body roll also.

lol ya...a lil overkill, even the stuff i listed is a bit overkill unless he's serious about autox/track. if u arnt really into racing but want good handling, i'd look into something more like Omni Power coilovers orFunction & Form, i'd also keep the Koni Yellows and GCs in mind.

you might also want to look at teins super street series. thats what i run on my car and i will say that it rides great its a little stiff but they are adjustible height and dampening the retail for like 1300 for the kit with pillowball uppermounts and they will handle great for everyday or you can stiffen it up a little if you feel like taking it to the track.
