AT 56,000 miles the front struts on my 2001 Civic LX sedan are worn out. The dealer quoted me $500 to replace them, which is outrageous. I checked with NAPA and they show the part number for Monroe sense-a-matic replacements, but they are unavailable. The clerk says that they are not being made yet. Hard to believe that with such a common car, there are not readily available Non-OEM struts. Does anyone out there know why this is, and where I can find the struts?
