Spare Tire???

i just got a pair of 17" flik wasp wheels (look amazing!) and was wondering if my stock spare tire is too small. if, and i'm sure, it is, what size spare tire should i get to replace it?

RE: Spare Tire???

I would tend to think if your driving on 17s, then go with a 17' spare tire. Even though your spare tire is infact smaller, for short distances I don't think it would be that much of a problem if you drove appropriately. But if you've got the money, go for a larger spare tire I guess.

Agreed, with your stock spare I'm sure you will be fine. Remember spares aren't meant for long term driving, but if you've got the money go ahead and invest.

why not just put one of your original wheels in back as a spare?

original weighs a bit more & wouldn't fit in the spare tire compartment

If you have done the "plus" sizing correctly, the new 17's shouldn't be any taller than the stock wheels. Wich in turn means, the spare will be fine. Remember....it's a "temporary spare"
