Default Steering

Hey guys
I have a 1994 Civic LX Sedan with almost 100,000 Miles. The tires are wearing quickly and are not wearing equally. I suspect that it is an alignment problem so i had the wheels aligned. I then got new tires, and the tires are still wearing. Im going to get the tires aligned again tommorow. What could the problem be beside the alignment? How can i fix it? I'm a first year Auto student in high school, can i do the work my self in my auto class? My teacher should be able to help me.
