Stock LCA replacement bolt
MY 2000 VP was just involved in an accident and the bolt that holds the 2 parts of the LCA together is broken off. O'Reilys says they can get the LCA for under $100 but they cannot get the bolt. Does a p/n exist for the bolt for me to get through the dealer (My local honda dealer says no p/n exists and you have to purchase the whole assembly from them for $350) or would I be best to go to a junk yard and just pull the bolt from there?

Are you talking about the bolt in the center of the LCA where the strut mounts?
Anyway, a part number definitely exists, seeing as I bought all 6 bolts from a dealership when I did the suspension on my old civic. The bad news is they're something like $8/bolt. Go to a honda dealership and go to the parts desk. If they try to tell you it doesn't have a part number, have them bring up the exploded-view diagram of the rear LCA, and go from there. I work at a dealership (granted, it's subaru and not honda), and I promise you that if it's a part on a car, a dealership can order that part.
