Will strut bars do much if you have not lowered your car? Just trying to find cheap ways to make my ride a better one. Any suggestions would be sweet ***, its a 04 civic ex

It is all in what you call better. It will make your car stiffer

 

I would concider stiffer better. Anything to make the ride more solid

 

i have front and rear megan strut bars, and i really didnt notice a diffrence. but they look good.

 

iv only heard good things about them and they improve handling alot..^ thats weard neon3kgt..your the first one that i heard that from

 

It will feel a bit stiffer, but not as good as if you had a lower stance.

 

I felt a big differemce when I put mine on. Then again I have a 4 door.

 

you can grab ahold of them and bend em... they also have a hinge on each end. so i dont get how it would help much.

 

You can grab ahold of them and bend them? What the heck did you buy tin foil? I can understand the bars having some give but enough that you can visibly see bend in them when you try to bend them? Where can i go to get stuff installed on my car, obviously i can install strut bars without any experiance but with stuff like intakes exaust and suspension upgrades does anyone know of any place in the southeastern Wisconsin area that does this well? Would asking the dealership where I got the car be a good start?

 

what do u guys think about the strut bars from ebay?? r they any good
