Yea, car parts are expensive because of the R&D not the material costs. Keep in mind the bigger companies do a lot of mechanical testing on their parts and their end cost reflects that. Steven Dinan came and talked at our school about it. It just depends on whether you're willing to shell out that much cash.
maybe in clothing, but in the automotive industry, the price variation can be due to many factors such as research, design, fitment, and the big one: QUALITY, which many companies lack. so if you want quality, buy quality. if you want something that can do the job, then buy something that can do the job without breaking the bank. Either way has pro's and con's.
for 6th gen coupes, to mount a c-pillar bar u have to cut into the rear deck. it really isnt a true c-pillar bar since it bolts to the deck and not the actual c-pillar.
