well, after months of tryin to decide what suspension set up i wanted, i finally decided to go with the Tokico HP suspension set. i had such a hard time tryin to choose between those and getting either eibach prokit springs or tien s-tech springs and getting the kyb agx shocks...but ya i figure ill prolly be to lazy to adjust the kyb shocks anyways and i really dont feel like spending $500 on the whole set up, insted i found the Tokico set up for $375 brand new shipped(www.xshocks.com).

My question is, since my car is old, should i replace the shock mounts? i dont think they have ever been replaced but they look ok. if so, where can i get them and about how much are they?

unless they are rusted really bad or look like there in ruff condition, you could replace them...but ither then that i wouldent bother

if your going to replace them go to any autoparts store, i no here we have a place called allpro..they carry OEM stuff, not sure on the price tho..i bet it will be big dollers tho

 

alright thanks...going a little off topic but how are megan racing lca's? ebay has them for about $100 shipped, are they even worth it? do they improve handling even after new struts/shocks? i read that they help tire wear by reducing camber but the suspension im getting will only lower me about 1.5" so is that even a concern?

haha. riceburner just installed some. i have to say...after his pics and opinion on them im going to have to say they were added to my list of suspension components from megan.

 

Do replace the upper strut mounts. They are not that expensive and it's not worth putting new struts with old strut mounts.
