suspension through car...

Default suspension through car...

so today i hit a bump in the road and i heard a loud noise and i just thought it was the car. so i thought nothing of it. then i got home and i looked in the trunk and i saw this.



so any help?

is it an aftermarket suspension? did u install it urself? any closer/better pics would be more helpful.

the only way i can see that happening is if the little washer that sits on the shock shaftand under the bushing is not installed. so long as the shaft dosnt have any deep scratches, u can re-use the shock. u'll need a new top hat and that washer. do u still have the little washer and nut that sit at the very tip of the shock?

no but i have a 91 si shell that does have one. so the only problem is that the shaft seemed to have went through the place that holds it....so do you think it will still just bolt on?

u'll need to take the shock/spring assembly off to replace the washer the sits on the shaft and to replace the top hat.
