Default Suspension tips

Hey guys, i was hoping to get my Tein H tech springs installed this weekend and just had a few questions for the experts. included with the springs was a chart on how much to cut the bump stop. So my question is, what is a bump stop and is it needed in the installation? Any other tips on the install would be great!!

I have no real experience on this. But you can always call a local performance place that would install things like this and ask them, more often than not they'll be willing to help a fellow enthusiast.

I believe the "bump stop" is the piece of rubber on your stock springs to keep your suspension from bottoming out too hard. If you go over a huge bump, instead of metal hitting metal, that "bump stop" is there.
