I checked tanabe's website, and I was surprised at what I found. Looking at spring rates for both the gf and df springs, the df springs appear to have a bit higher spring rates than the gfs.
And yet they labeled the gfs as the most performance oriented spring, while the df are for a drop. Im confused.

you dont want sooper stiff for handling. that causes your traction to break loose and oversteer.
you want stiff but compliant suspension that can soak up bumps while also keeping the most tire contact area touching the road at all times.
