tein springs

Default tein springs

i just recieved my tein springs i bought them used off of ebay how do i know which springs go up front and back 2 are a little bit shorter do the taller stiff ones go in the front. and i am planning on getting 16 or 17 icnh rims i know 17s will look better but i just dont want any issues with scrubbing so will 17 be ok or to big

The set with the more coils goes up front, to support the weight of the motor. 17's will fit fine, and they will look bitchin!

They say on the spring....2 springs have F???? and 2 springs have R????on them so of course the f is for front and the r is for rear...

and yes 17's with 205/40/17 will fit perfect...if u go any bigger with the tires though it will rub..

bigger rims doesn't necesarrily mean bigger overall wheels. The 205's are close to stock size, so really the overall wheel doesn't change much so it's like lowering on stock wheels. And the S-Techs tuck the back tires but not the front really that much, so unless you're making a really tight turn and hit a bump going fast, really you're gonna not gonna rub much.

I know a few people on here had to roll thier fenders with 17s and Teins. I know Addiction has the same set up that i had on my old car and he rubbed and i didnt. So it just depends.

The only way 16's are gonna rub are if u have big *** tires...and yea more than likely u will have to do minor work to the fenders but go wit it ull be happier in the end with the result....
