three questions about suspintion

I have a 04 Civic EX....Here is the first question. When I make a hard left turn into anywhere I hear a creeking noise that sounds like its coming from the rear end? Any ideas what this could be? Second question is...Dose anyone make a suspention package kit for my car? I want to drop about an inch but I know just adding springs to stock shocks is pricy and bad mojo...Third question is....I am wanting to put 18x7.5 or 8 rims on the car...Would a 1 inch drop cause any problems?

RE: three questions about suspintion

i would go with tokico or ground controll shocks and tein s-tech springs. You'll drop about an inch in a half. If you want less of a drop than get the tein h-tech springs instead of the s-techs. As for the rims.... You will rub hard with 18x8's unless you tuck the wheel wells.

18x7.8-8 and drop will fo sho rub, i dont think even tucking the wheel wells will help, u'd prolly hav to hammer out the fenders and tuck just to fit the width and then for turning i dunno... not to mention horrible ride...

Ok so would 18X7.5 be ok? Or do you think those would rub too? Or should I just drop to 17's? I love the look of a wide tire so i'd love to 7.5 wide at the least. Any sudgestions?

Rear sway bar... a little grease on the bushing will work wonders.

See above... Tein is a good brand.

Any 18" wheel will give you problems, stick wtih 17" and under.

yeah, can i ask why you want 18"'ers so badly? IMO, 16"s look the best, 17"s are getting a little more showey...althought still look hot, but 18s are like huge...dont need em trust me

I just love the look of 18"...But after all the feedback I think I will go with 17's. I just want to make sure my wheel wells are filled up. I want something that has a good size crome lip on it to give it depth. You all have been a great help. Thanks agian
