Default Time to lower

Hi i just installed a set of 17 inch rims with 215 45 17 tire and now i waant to lower it. I noticed that in the front theres not alot of clearence maybe 1 inch the most. Whats the best way to lower it without rubbing? should i get coilovers and adjust them? thanks

do you have an 00? I have 205's on my 99 (instead of your 215s) and i'm lowered like 1.8" on Tein S-Techs and have minimal rubbing issues. Maybe try 205s?

def get coilovers, there is like a .3 inch space that determines whether the 215/45's will rub or not, and without the ability to control the height, itd b hard to guarantee no rubbing. Id also suggest stiff shocks, as the stock ones are too smooth and dip too much on bumps. No matter how low/high u go though, the tires are too wide for the car and they will rub against the inner wheel well wen the wheel is fully turned, but u just learn not to turn it that far lol

or you just learn to appreciate the sound of rubber on metal (or in my case, rubber on fiberglass)
