tire sizes
 

im looking at some new rims and tires that are 215/50/r17. im hoping to put them on my 2001 civic ex, will these fit safely and not rub if the manufacturer suggests a 215/45/r17?

If I'm correct I think that would be like 1-3 millimeter difference.. I don't think it'd rub O.o My tires are off by about 10. I'd ask a dealer or call a tire shop
