Tokico D-specs

so for the longest time ive had my eyes on Tokico Illuminas for when i change my suspension. well i was looking around the tokico website and i started looking at the D-specs. theyre supposed to be the most ajustable shocks on the market. iw as wondering if anyone has had experience or knows anyone with these shocks.

Haven't had any experience... I think they're pretty new. But it sounds like they might be a step above Illuminas in a general sense, and you really can't go wrong with Tokico.

thats what it looked like from their website. they look pretty slick...im gunna research them some and see if i still wanna stick with illuminas for my plans (from what ive seen retail is almost twice on the D-specs than on the illuminas)

They might be phasing out the Illuminas, too, which would drop the prices even more.

you have to realize too, that for most people on the amateur/semi-amateur level, you wont even notice the difference between a set of good shocks, and a set of top-of-the-line shocks. I would stick to the Illuminas. spend the money on track days or even a race school, it will help your times way more than a set of trick shocks Vs. a set of good shocks.
