track alignment specs?
ive been looking for a while now with no avail. does anyone with experience have a good base line setting for an ej or ek? right now im set at about one degree camber, a little toe in on both front and back. might change the back to 0 toe at some point, i know a little toe out in the back helps turn in, but it makes the car twitchy also. the car is street driven and that wouldnt be fun on the freeway. camber, ill have to bring a thermometer and see what it says after a sesh at the track.
I don't think you'll find much help here. I'm an autoxer myself and I find trial and error is usually the only way to tweak alignment. The thing with alignment specs is that most cars are setup differently and of course everyone has different driving styles and preferences. It's nearly impossible to have a definitive answer.
For autox, I have about 1.5 degree camber front, just over 1 degree rear. Front toe I like to have either straight or very slightly toe-in. Rear is a little toe-in. With my car this makes for a pretty twitchy car but that's great for autox. I don't think I'd feel very comfortable with this alignment on a track though. It's a little hairy sometimes on the street.
