Very stubborn Brake lines
i seem to have quite a problem..
i just completed the rear disc conversion on my 94 ex and my new 4040 prop valve is on the way but i can't get the old lines (6) of them off. i just rounded the heads with a flare wrench. i have some PB blaster and heard that heat is the next best option but my question is won't the heat mess something up? i have one of those little blue propane ones, is it safe to heat up the old prop valve fittings and remove them? Thanks for the help |
Don't use heat on brake system components. Try the PB Blaster and some big vise grips, clamped by a gorilla.
