Default Vibration?

I feel a slight vibration when I start breaking when I'm doing like 45-50mph+. It's not that bad, but very noticeable. Is it something with the rotars or just anti-locks kicking in?

could quite possibly be warped rotors. How old is the setup?

I'm gonna agree with every1 else and say its warped rotors. You can take them off and have them machined for like $7.00 a piece (thats to machine them, not to have them taken off). If it was anti-lock brakes you would definatly hear it more.

the only problem with machineing them is it most likely will come back after a while, so if you have the means to do so replace them. and be sure to properly bed the pads and rotors

just spend the extra 20 bucks a piece and get brand new rotors, i think that maching a rotor to be thinner weill just not hold heat or transfer it as well anymore

Possible causes of vibration when braking
1. warped rotors
2. wheels are out of alignment
3. tires are unbalanced

When was the last time you had brake work done? Machining down rotors is not a bad thing to do, also called "turning down rotors", unless they are machined beyond a minimum rotor width.

Hey Blue EX I have the same problem with my 05 EX .But its only noticable for me when Im braking hard, like you said at higher speeds. i ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS THE antilock system? Our Cars are too new for warped rotors I believe. Maybe a defect.......Is your car lowered at all???????????
