What to get

O.k. I know for my suspension I want to go with skunk 2 but should I get there coilovers or lowering springs. Which are better and is there a diffrence.

RE: What to get

Lowering Springs:
Good:
-inexpensive
-smaller drops mean less camber, so you might not even need a camber kit
-Stock shocks
Bad:
-You're stuck at a certain drop level once you put them on
-Inability to adjust means they're the worse choice for any car that might be seeing an autoX course

Coilovers:
Good:
-Ride height adjustablity (raise/lower whenever you feel like it)
-adjustablity means they're better for tracks
-low ride heights (max. drops of 3.5" to 4")
Bad:
-expensive
-cheap coilovers bounce like crazy
-You'll probably want a camber kit
-You'll definitely want to upgrade to adjustable shocks

I'd say if you live in an area with harsh winters or plan to race your car, get a set of coilovers. If your winters aren't bad and the roads are decent where you live, go with the lowering springs.

RE: What to get

Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to go with the coilovers. I don't do any autocross but I'd like to find out how to get into it and start racing. Thanks
