Default what suspension to use

i have a 1994 honda civic ex coupei have 17 inch rims i want to lower it i was looking at the tokico spring and shock setwill thatlower it pretty good it lowers 1.5 front and back or is it better to just go with the s techs for that lower look

How low do you want it? Do you want to be able to raise it in the winter and slam it in the summer? If you want adjustability, I'd say go with coilovers (or adjustable springs, since they're a lot cheaper). If you just want a small drop, I'd say go with S-techs... they're a pretty popular choice around here and I have yet to hear one complaint about them.

Also, do you happen to know the offset of your wheels? You might have rubbing issues when you lower if your offset is too small (with any offset of +38mm or more you should be fine)

so do the s tech ride pretty good and the off set is 40

Okay, you should be fine with your wheels not rubbing...

I don't have any experience with S-Techs firsthand, but from what I've heard, they ride pretty smoothly. Like I said, I've never heard a single complaint about the S-techs.
