What would be better to do first?
Hi guys
I have a 96 civic coupe with stock suspension, some 14 inch american racing wheels and some michelin all seasons in the front and bridgestones in the back, and I am looking into increasing the handeling capabilities of my car for a daily driver, maybe autocross sometimes. What would give me a better handeling out of the two? I will do both eventually, but want as most performance as I can get now. I would either spend my money on a good set of rims and tires, or on a good set of springs and shocks. So what would be better for handeling to do right now? Thanks a lot.

springs and struts would be best for you right now. thats a good place to start and then when you get some money get some good light weight 15s (rota slipstreams) and some good tires on there and go have fun in the twisties.

Wow are you for real with that reply? I'll make it pure and simple if you do not know what your talkin about or just think you know, then please don't reply to people who are askin a serious question.
Here: an anti-sway bar is an anti-sway bar and it helps keep a car flatter in turns or in other words keeps it from swaying, it ties the front/rear right with the front/rear left to work together.
A strut tower brace is NOT an anti-sway bar DUDE. It's as the name says a STRUT TOWER BRACE, like braces on your teeth it keeps them straight, stops flex, stiffens the chassie.
Go to the library if ya know what one of those are an learn somethin new or just type it in your computer. You'd be amazed at what you can learn from other sources and its fact you can comment on then, NOT how smart you think you are, and then you won't be makin a FOOL of yourself with your post.
This post was meant as an educational information check for those who need it, so WHO might they be????
