tho these will be my winter/beater rims AFTER i get my new NEW rims... just to much $$ that i dont have right now.LOL


well total invested so far... about 106bucks
wheels, paint, sand paper

tho i must say WOW one rim MUST have been hit with something during the wreck the guy told me he repaired... didnt notice it till i was sanding on them... BUT its decent so shouldnt be a problem still a KILLER deal for 75bucks for the wheels/tires. tho i do need 2 new tires... future purchase... i just want these on my ride ASAP so just waiting for the paint to dry overnight before i mount them and shine the tires up...

HERES THAT SAME RIM... best i could get it worked out. aparently something HIT the rim when it was still spinning preaty hard! you can see the bad damage to the left of the spokes to the side... and its ALL the way around every spoke!

i like em mannn, they loook way better, what kind of paint do u have to use to paint rims?

 

I think they look really great the way you painted them, 100X better then before..not a fan of the black though.

 

they look more like a dark bronze, i like the color.

 

i used some black wheel paint...
heard it shouldnt chip as easy... SO HOPEFULLY IT WONT BUT eventualy when i find out what my paint code actualy is... a black with blue flake in it.. id like to paint the rims with that color matching paint.
BUT these will just be my beater/winter rims when ever i get my NICE NEW rims

they are same style as i had before but chromes and they were rip off style instead of real MR7s

wow man, why are those gonna be your beater rims? Those things look sick, you could prolly tape them off and paint the chrome lip and have the color rims youve wanted for a while now

but at least if the paint holds up.. at least i KNOW i can always sell them and at least get my money back EVEN if i buy 2 new tires.lol good thing to know at least

i actualy wish i didnt sell my old rims until i bought my new ones.... BUT o well i preaty much got my money backl outta them rims and these were preaty much dirt cheap! it shocked the hell outta me when i found out that i actualy won the ebay auction!!!!!! i though for sure NO WAY IM GONNA WIN ANY RIMS for 75bucks....
i know they where curbed preaty good but still i thought 100-150bucks easy..... but i guess no one else wanted to mess with them i guess or just forgot about them he said 9 people where watching that auction... and i bid that begining 75dollar bid 3days before the auction ended...
