I am new to this forum, so please be patient ...

My wife is purchasing an '07 Civic LX sedan. I am trying to determine if any of my "spare" tires and wheels will fit. When she had a 4x100 Honda and I had 4x100 VWs, I could move tires and wheels around easily. The '06/'07 Civics have gone to a 5 bolt pattern. I was hoping for 5x100 because I have lots of 5x100 wheels for my several late model VWs. I have seen references to both 5x114mm and 5x114.3 for an 06/07 Civic. The latter makes more sense because that is the 5 x 4.5" standard

1) is the pattern 5x114mm or 5x114.3mm ?

The stock wheels are supposed to be 16 x 6.5 but I can find nothing useful on the offset

2) can anyone supply standard ET (offset) numbers for the stock wheel

I want to put snow tires on the car within a month or so. I have some Blizzak W50s in 205/55-16 which should fit the Civic, but need steel wheels. TireRack and 1010Tires both have steel wheels to fit, but perhaps there are other sources

3) can anyone supply a source for "stock size" steel wheels to be used for winter tires.

It's 5 on 4.5 (114.3)

 

im not too sure but they will be the same spec as the 2006 civic.

 

thanks; i would be surprized if the '06 and '07 civics had different wheels (for the same trim level). But that still leaves me asking about the offset for the 16 x 6.5 wheel.
