Wheel size?

I'm looking to get some new rubber for a '97 civic coupe, and I've had a lot of recommendations for the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S line (including my father, who has put tens of thousands of miles on his on the same roads I'll be driving on with no visible wear.) Problem is, my car has 185/65/14 wheels, and Michelin doesn't sell that tire in that size. I'm thinking of picking up some secondhand alloys (the ones from the late-90s Integra seem compatible-do I have that correct?) and moving up a tire size - would 195/55/15 be a good idea, or can I go even bigger? The roads around here are bloody awful, so narrow sidewalls seems inadvisable.

195/55/15 is the correct size. Don't go bigger

Pretty much any 4-lug Acura or Honda wheel will fit your car no problem. Like trust said, 195/55-15 is the size you're looking for on a 15" wheel.

So 195 50/15 wont work?

195/50-15 will work, but it'll have a slightly lower sidewall profile and your speedometer will be slightly off.
