maybe cause they are 5 lug and you have a 4 lug car? i have no idea

Yes, its because the wheels are 5 Lug and Civics need a 4 Lug wheel.

a bit off topic but do they have 5 wheel conversions or does that involve buying the whole axel and stuff?

You have to do the axles and all I think. Like 99% sure on that. I know its gets brought up about every two or three months in the suspension section. LOL
