I just bought a 2004 Coupe (VP) and it needs new tires. The hubcaps are banged up some too so I figured why not replace the wheels with some other Honda rims that already have good tires (I really have no interest in aftermarket rims and like the look and low weight of the HX rims). I found a set of 14" HX rims off a 2000 model that have good tires on them, but wasn't sure if they'll fit my '04. What's the scoop?

yes, they fit. Any wheel with 4x100 bolt pattern will work for your car.

 

think 14's will look too small

Well it has 14's on it now and they seem to be fine...

 

could have sworn stock 04's have 15's. ::shrugs::

maybe thats just the ex? i doubt it.

 

I'm rockin' the VP brother! Roll-up windows, manual locks, 5 spd (with no tach), and 14" hubcaps...hehe

Soooooooooooo....after driving 40 min's across town and swapping the 2000 HX rims onto my car, it's pretty clear that I need some kind of spacers on the front? They don't clear the caliper...

Help!
