Hi All, I purchased a set of used springs and struts on ebay from a 96-00 Civic and I want to use them to replace the blown out set on my 93 LX.

I didn't really think about them not being the same. Has anyone done this, will they fit without any problems? I need a good answer before I take the car off the road and pull the old ones. Some parts catalogs (Autozone) list different part numbers for Gen 5 vs. Gen 6.

Can anyone help out with some advice?

the springs should be compatible but the struts are definitely not
