Which would you choose?

Default Which would you choose?

KYB GR-2's or Tokico HP struts with Tein springs? They seem to be in the same price range and I don't want adjustable struts. Thanks in advance.

i have gr2's and my friend has the blues. honesty, they ride about the same, i cant feel a big difference, if any.

ive heard bad things about tokico blues. id go with the hp's on tein's out of those.

tokico hp and blues are the same thing. blues are the nickname because..they are blue?

Gr-2s, and the Teins would be a good little combo, IMHO.

a set of tein s-tech will run you about $160 and its like a 1.8 drop but they work with your stock shocks and you dont need a camber kit..here are 2 links from people that have already installed them on here, myself and mynmisoli ... < i have this typed out because so many people ask the quesion

I have tokico blue shocks and h&r springs on my car, it handles great and rides really nice too.

Definitely HPs. They actually have increased damping force to compensate for the higher springs rates of the lowering springs. The damping on GR2s, however, is pretty much stock (they're generally listed as OE replacements).
