WELL WHAT IT SAYS.... how long does it typicaly take for the springs to settle before i can get a true alignment job......


id like to have my wheels aligned so it wont eat em up... BUT i dont want to pay three times to get it aligned!
cause id need to get it done once the new springs are on... and then again when i get my new rims/tires just to be sure.... but i dont want a third time if the springs arent settled and i drive it that way for ruffly a month or two before i got enough cash for ny new rims/tires....

 

i settled my coilover springs instantly by going out and doing sideways drifting on a dirt covered road near my house. lol.

scared the hell out of my friend, but it worked.

 

I was told 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.

well i could do it that way BUT grounds to wet. LMFAO id just sink..... guess ill just ride her hard for about a week.... drive like i did when i was a teenager. LMFAO

 

mine has been sitting for about a week 1/2 and i think they have settled. if not, they will when i drive it to get it aligned.

 

just atke some hard turns but be careful of where you do it at, i say go to an empty parking lot this weekend when noone is there and have at it

 

O ALSO FORGOT.... will i have roll the rear fender lip up or should i be fine with it not being that much lower?
Stechs say 1.9" front drop, 1.7" rear drop.


or will my 205-40-17s still be a good size for no rubbing issues front or rear?

 

i was wondering the same thing....i guess the shop can do it for me if its needed .

 

i dropped mine about 2 inches and i got the 17's and i notice now that if i turn really hard and shift the weight of the car my rear will slightly rubb the wheelwell, so i think im going to give it a try
