D16y7 to B16b
Doing a swap in my ek coupe civic from the d16 to a b16b, a shop is doing the labor for me but I have someone that wants to buy the old engine already. The shop really wants to keep both engines while doing the swap but this guy will only buy it if i can bring it tomorrow. So I asked the shop if i could take my old engine and they said if i insisted i could but it is likely that i will need a part from the old engine and it is going to be costly if i do.
hmotors and other people i talked to said all i will need is the wire harness, ac compressor, engine mount bolts and hydraulic transmission cable.
I dont want to end up needed my old motor back but i also cannot afford the swap they are already doing without selling the old engine. So is there anything else I will need from the old engine before i sell it? hoping someone here has done this swap before.
Here is a list of what the new engine comes with:
- Motor
- LSD Hydraulic Tranny (S4C)
- ECU (PCT)
- Axles with Half Shaft
- Shift Linkage
- Stock Motor Mounts
- Alternator
- Starter
- Clutch
- Flywheel
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Fuel Rail
- Injectors
- Distributor
- Engine Harness
- Comes With All Sensors Needed
