I have a 1992 Honda Civic Ex Automatic and i also have a parts 1992 honda civic lx manual. I want to swap the auto for the 5 spd but i'm not sure how to go about it. I'm also looking for a new clutch. Does anyone know if i have to change the cv axle's. I need a lot of help

RE: 1992 Honda Civic Auto-Manual Conversion

post needs to be posted in the transmission section. but to answer your question,
parts list
92-00 5spd tranny
92-00 shift linkages (d-series exc. del sol)
92-00 pedal assembly(or choose to use only the clutch pedal and cut down the brake pedal)
clutch master with resevoir
hyd. master lines(lines from clutch master cyl to slave cyl.)
slave cyl
92-00 front transmission mount and bracket(auto will not work)
92-95 5spd ecu
your factory automatic axles WILL work with the 5spd conversion. ive done this many times and IMO well worth the effort.
