Can anybody tell me the gear ratios for the 4 and 5 speed transmissions for the 88-91 civics. Also what final drive ratios were available?

one thing to consider. im not sure if your wanting to swap gearing to make a hybrid tranny or not but i have tried and enjoyed a zc/si hybrid for all motor apps. using the si 1-2 and final drive along with the zc 3-5. 2-5 is very close and i loved it.

 

I have a Civic Hatchback (Canadian made) base model with 4-speed... Is it safe to assume that my ratios are the std?

 

4 speed only comes on the standard, so yes, those are your ratios.
