Working on modding my integra should have around 500hp. I have an ACT clutch kit and new fidanza flywheel. Anyother additional mods to need to be done to the tranny/differential. I friend said that the differential needs to modified. any input would be nice thanks ya'll!

 

you can mod the diff pin so it dosent come out and destroy everything, ive seen it done a cheap way by welding a washer on the ends of it so it wont come out but you'de have to mod the case slightly for clearence.

if your tearing apart the trans it wouldnt hurt to put a set of carbon coated synchro's in there.

but becides the diff im pretty sure it can hold up to what your going to put it through but it also wouldnt hurt to put a quaife in there if you've got the money to do it. it'd be well worth the money.

 

invest in an lsd, i would hate for you to slam into oncoming traffic from torque steer

 

500hp you are gonna need to upgrade the axles.

 

i have custom made axles that will handle 500hp. An lsd tranny, from what vehicles do those come from, model/year. what are some of the tranny codes for the lsd

(ex. engine code b18a) tranny code ?

also what is a quaife? I am unfamilar with the term. thanks

 

The transmission i have is a YS1 and several other numbers (forgot to write it down). Based on that number is it possible to tell if it is a LSD tranny? thanks

 

I think the only cars that came with a stocklsd is the integra type R (not sure what the code is). I have the same tranny as you and itdoesNOT have a lsd. Also that tranny has pretty short gearing and imo sucks for turbo civics. I would get a integra type R tranny or an LS tranny and buy an OBXlsd for it.

Quaife is company that makes LSD's.They and OBX are pretty popular companies that make lsd's.
