every now and then when i am steady going in 5th gear it pops out..... any idea what causes this?? it gets pretty annoying

if you use the search feature this has been covered a few times.

Usually its a low transmission fluid issue. If you dont have enough tranny fluid it will cause you to come out of 5th gear while driving. It also could be a bad 5th gear syncro problem
