5th and reverse probs
 

I took the tranny out of my 92 4dr and put it in my 92 hatch.I switched over both shift rods and I have a problem shifting to 5th or reverse.I tried the hatches shift rods and the 4dr and having the same prob.It will go into 5th and reverse but it takes awhile and it cut a hole in my shift boot.Any ideas on what I need for fix.

Re-check your installation on the tranny for any misalignment during the installation of the tranny.
