b&m short shifters

what are the pros of buying a $150 b&m shifter over say a 50$ ebay shifter? Do they use different mechanisms for shortening the throw of the shifter? Or is it the name/quality of the parts?

a $50 ebay B&M is still a B&M...I ahve one and my friend has one that he bought for $110 elsewhere and they're identical..

cheapo shifters are ok, but a b&m is a higher quality. look to twm, the make awesome ***** and short shifters and sponser hcf.

wait wait wait...a B&M real shifter can be had for $50 on ebay. Generic ones are like $15
