B16a1 VS. 1999-2000 Si tranny

Im thinking about getting a b16a1 tranny and was wondering if the where cable and if the gearing for them is as good as for the 1999-2000 Si for acceleration. thanx.

they are the same if you didnt know, si's have a b16a2, which makes them identical, maybe different b/c the si's are hydraulic, not entirely sure
