Would there be any benefits/worth while to swap a d15b vtec tranny into my car and run that with a d15b7? Is this a better ratio'd transmission? thanks just testing the waters into what im going to do with my car. tight for $$

alright, is there anything noticable about doing it, I notice the gears are long in the tranny on my car

 

I had an lx and an ex....world of a difference....however having an ex tranny on a non-vtec I haven't had firsthand experience with...why not swap the whole d15b in there? Not much more cost wise...

 

ya thats what I think I will do, by the time I pay that 500 for the tranny, that is pretty much almost the cost of complete d15b swap with the lsd tranny at my local shop. I will probally eventually turbo the d15b with a greddy kit.Im also going to make my hatch as light as possible, I am buying an old integra for daily driver and using the hatch as a weekend warrior for track days (not autox or drag strip, just race track) think it should be pretty fun
