i need help....
i just need to know all the parts i need to do a tranny swap from automatic to 5 speed.... i have the 5 speed tanny and the clutch linkage, pedals........ i need to know if im gonna need anything else thanks !!!................

 

well you will need a new ECU one for a manual, and i think a new axle for a manual, and if the tranny doesn't have them on it, a master cylinder, and slave cylinder, the shifter, shifter linkage, shifter ****, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel... and i am not quite shure if there is anything else.. but i think that may be it

the way i drive my automatic i give it another 2 years then i'll need a new 1...

 

thanks for the info, fiirkan and marty that really helps alot.... but fiirkan are you sure i have to replace the axles???? because i have bought the axles in it now which is on the auto tranny, when i bought it i told the dude @ autozone to look up if the axle on manual tranny is any different.. he said it doesnt call for it, he said its the same... so i got him to get the set of axles both for manual and auto, they are exactly alike.... size measurement and even the grove on the end of the axles are the same.... but he might be wrong tho....... but anywayz thanks again

Yes you need new axels and if anyone makes fun of you or your pics of a project on this forum they will be delt with by me, another moderator, or a fellow member. We dont work like that on HCF. Welcome to a freindly forum, we are here to help and hope you post pics of a ongoing project.

everythign else is stock, i only wish i had the money to buy more stuff... so you are not alone! no one will make fun of you!
