Four wheels?

Four wheels?
I've read that the '89 Civics had four wheel drive. Could I use the parts from that car to make my '98 civic use all four of its wheels? Doesn't seem to be much point modding my car if only one wheel's getting any power.

The 89 was also a 4 cylinder single cam.
Yes, people have done it. It's a major swap. You have to fit the driveshaft and differential over as well as get a different gas tank for the setup to fit. PArts for it are still available though.

some of the 88-91 civic shuttles (aka wagovan) had AWD. I'm not sure how strong the drivetrain was though. If you're not looking to add much power though just besides getting it to the wheels though the drivetrain should be fine. It's just a matter of doing it... looks like a ton of work

There are actually a couple 350s for sale in my local paper. I might do some homework and consider that. Can anybody point me to a thread about this on HCF?
