How can you tell if a clutch was put in wrong.

I bought a tranny off a guy on clubcivic he said it ran fine nothing wrong with etc. Anyway Im about to finish up my swap the other day and I noticed that when my car was in netruel the car wouldnt roll and it also wouldnt roll if the clutch was pushed in. My question is could this be cause the clutch was put in wrong or does it have something to do with the transmission any help would be great. Thanx a lot.

can you make it roll by pushing it or anything, how does the pedal feel?
