Default Loose shifter

My girlfriends room mate has a 95 DX 5spd with over 300km on it. The shifter is really loose, and I believe it's in the linkage not the tranny. The gears feel nice and tight but the shifter itself is loose and goes all over the place. You know how when you put your car in neutral and you can move the shifter side to side a little? Well hers you can pretend you're running through all the gears like the guy with the marker on the white boardin the old Si-R comercial.

Is there a bushing kit or is this something that requires a replacement of the shifter assembly?

ES Shifter Bushing, they're cheap and work like a charm.

Sweet, thanks!

I looked them up on the internet and I also found a post that came in my google search that shows you how to install them.

Just look for the honda tech forum in the google results and you'll see the post on how to change them.

I had the same problem, I got down and looked under the car and found that the bolt holding the shifter to the linkage was half the way out. Look first.
