I have an em1 and i swapped in a b18c5 and i was wondering if there is anyway possible to make it a 6 speed because i am tired of being at 80mph in 5th and 4500 rpm it gets annoying lol so is there anyway to do this?

I think you could swap in a LS 5th gear to drop your highway RPMs

^ True. It will lower highway RPMS, but if you cant do the labor yourself it could get pricey fast.

soviet you can do an b 16 tranny on an h22. and my dad owns a transmission shop so labor wouldnt be anything. and i want to keep 5th because it stills pulls in fifth but i want an economy gear

the H2B works cause there;'s an adapter plate out, the B2K doesn't exist

get the ls 5th gear and it will lower down into the 3000rpm range
