New clutch breaking it in.

Hey guys,

I just got a new stage one clutch and new flywheel put in. The clutch feels amazing and I really prefer this clutch over stock.

I just drove it for the first time and I was wondering if it is true that I need to "break it in." I've heard that I should drive it pretty hard and I have also heard that I should be shifting very easy for the first 300 to 500 miles.

So which one is it?

Thanks
Brock

Shift slowly, i.e. let the clutch out slowly. Don't take it over 3000 RPMs or so except for in 5th gear since you need to go a little over 3k RPMs to drive 65-70MPH on the interstate. Keep in mind that to break it in you need to do a lot of starts and stops, not just cruising on the highway.

And yea, for the first ~500 miles
