I need some help troublshooting an error code. The code is P1768. What I have found so far is that the code relates to the transmission torque converter clutch selnoid bank B. The problem is that I don't know where the torque converter clutch selnoid is. The car is a 2000 honda civic EX with an automatic transmission. It has about 150k on it and has been pretty much trouble free up to this point. Just yesterday the car started making a large clunk when going from park to reverese and then reverse to drive. When in drive it seems to be stuck in either 3rd or 4th gear. I can manually downshift it to 2nd gear to get going. The D4 light is blinking and the speedometer doesn't work. When I checked it for codes it came up with the P1768. From what I can find on the net, there appears to be 3 selenoids on the transmission. One is the shift selenoid, one is a linear selenoid, and one is a torque lockup selenoid. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
