Default short throw

Hey I am new to this forum and i wanted some feedback on the different short throw shifters available for a 94 Civic, I bought the car from a friend who put a ****ty shifter in and i was putting the car in reverse and the shifter snapped off right below the ****, i had a nice socket handy for the short term and rethreaded the shaft but i think i just want to get a new shifter. Any recomendations?

I think from what I've heard around here, an ebay one will do just fine, but that quality ones like B&M and skunk 2 feel great and are awesome. In other words, i think some have even said, buy an ebya one now until you save up money for the nice one.

+1 for the ebay ones, quite a few people on here have them and unless you are REALLY shifting hard you shouldnt have a problem with them breaking. B&M makes a good one if you want to spend a little extra money, google it.

i use a DC sport short throw and it works great, no problems and fairly cheap. $122 retail and the skunk2 is only a couple bucks more

B&M isn't expensive, i got mine for less than the price of a tank of gas, and it's quality is the highest you'll find anywhere
