Default si trans any better than cx?

I'm looking into putting a stage 1 clutch in my car. (d15b8 block) I've heard a few different places that the SI trans is better than most. Is this out of any si? Or just from a del sol. As long as it's a d-series it should bolt up, I'm just wondering if it'd be worth it to do the trans swap with the clutch. Thanks

ive herd that si trans are good if you like to drive ,,short gear ratios (i think) which would make sense since the si is the sporty model ..

I've been looking into it, which trans would be better. For a d15 or for a d16 vtec? or are both transmissions the same for the si?

the si has closer gear ratios which allow for faster acceleration and are good for high rpm n/a motors. longer gearing like a cx trans is for better economy and a broader power band like in a turboed car

So I'm definitely goin with the si trans. So would that be the d16z6 vtec trans or the d15b... vtec trans? or would they be the same? Sorry if i'm confusing myself..
