Default Tranny question

I was thinkin about draining and refilling my auto tranny on my 94 ex. How come no one changes their fluid? Should i go to AAMCO since they can actually flush it? Or just buy the honda fluid and do it myself? What are the benefits of doing this? Is it worth it? Im finishing my turbo setup tomrorow and figured tranny fluid swap would be a good idea. What does everyone think?
