Trans swap??
Hey all. I'm not very mechanic smart, so I was wondering if it would be possible/how much it would cost to do a transmission swap into my 1993 Honda Civic EX. Right now I have an automatic transmission, and have been wanting a manual for a while. The engine is in very good condition, and has about 68,000 miles on it. Rather than selling it, I was thinking maybe I might be able to swap it. If more info is needed, let me know.
Thanks for helping

some ppl will tell you that its not worth it...if u had someone else do it and u were willing to pay i guess it would be fine...a guy i know told me he would do mine for 1200...so maybe around there...im plaining on doing my own once i get the money to get everythign needed
Any idea on a price range for the parts? My uncle is a mechanic and would be able to help me on putting it in, and my bro like worships civics and stuff, so he knows a lot about internals and stuff... so I wouldnt have a problem with the actuall swap, but I was wondering how much it would cost for the parts.
Thanks
